Ingredients

  • 1 C. peanut butter
  • 1 C powdered sugar
  • 4 T. butter room temperature
  • 2 C. graham cracker crumbs (more or less depending on how crunchy/creamy you like it)
  • 1/8 C. semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. shortening

Method

  1. Add the peanut butter and powdered sugar to the mixing bowl and beat with the butter.  Mix until smooth.
  2. Mix in the graham cracker crumbs-if you prefer it more crunchy add the full 2 C. if you like it more smooth try about 1 1/2 C.
  3. I use a cookie scoop to form my peanut butter balls, place them on a baking sheet covered in aluminum foil. Then pop them in the freezer while you melt the chocolate chips.
  4.  Melt chocolate chips and shortening in 15 second intervals.  Grab your peanut butter balls and a fork and go in back and forth motion to make a drizzle with the melted chocolate.  You can also use a piping bag or a plastic sandwich bag with a small snip of the corner. I've tried dipping them all in chocolate and that's amazing, but the drizzle is so fast!
  5. Keep in freezer or refrigerator before serving.  Try not to eat them all!

Notes

-I've tried doubling this recipe and even quadrupling and it works amazingly and always gets eaten up at my gatherings.
-You can  choose how much graham cracker crumbs to add in, if you prefer them to be creamier add less graham crackers and if you prefer crunchier add more.
