Jump to RecipeI have been making these super simple and super delicious peanut butter balls for decades! You read that right! DECADES! I got the recipe when I was a young girl on the TV show Zoom for peanut butter bees. I made them for a few years as bees, then realized I could simplify the process, make a bunch more, and make peanut butter balls by doubling the recipe! The bees are still adorable, I’ve used them for parties and treats for church lessons, but I make the peanut butter balls most often now.

I often double this recipe because they are so delicious and perfect to bring to a party or share with others. They are so easy to make in a kitchen aid (I am LOVING this attachment!). I also like to use a piping bag or sandwich bag with the a small bit of a corner clipped off and drizzle the chocolate over the peanut butter balls.

They are incredibly delicious and remind me of my sweet niece Emma! She has been requesting them for her birthday since she was little! I have a blog post (from my old blog- isn’t it crazy I can tell it was from our old apartment when we were newlyweds) saying she requested them for her 3rd birthday, she’s 13 now. Time goes too fast! She had a sleepover with little Violet recently and I made these for her, it was fun to reminisce about how much she has changed and how she use to be like little Violet. Now they are such a cute little cousin duo! They had the funnest sleepover of painting nails, putting on face masks, popcorn and watching The Little Mermaid, crepes in the morning for breakfast, spaghetti and making lipgloss! We loved having Emma over!

Ingredients
- 1 C. peanut butter
- 1 C powdered sugar
- 4 T. butter room temperature
- 2 C. graham cracker crumbs (more or less depending on how crunchy/creamy you like it)
- 1/8 C. semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. shortening
Instructions
- Add the peanut butter and powdered sugar to the mixing bowl and beat with the butter. Mix until smooth.
- Mix in the graham cracker crumbs-if you prefer it more crunchy add the full 2 C. if you like it more smooth try about 1 1/2 C.
- I use a cookie scoop to form my peanut butter balls, place them on a baking sheet covered in aluminum foil. Then pop them in the freezer while you melt the chocolate chips.
- Melt chocolate chips and shortening in 15 second intervals. Grab your peanut butter balls and a fork and go in back and forth motion to make a drizzle with the melted chocolate. You can also use a piping bag or a plastic sandwich bag with a small snip of the corner. I've tried dipping them all in chocolate and that's amazing, but the drizzle is so fast!
- Keep in freezer or refrigerator before serving. Try not to eat them all!
