I’ve learned that one of my love languages is gift giving (and receiving gifts but that’s besides the point haha!). A thoughtful, sweet gift is just so kind. It can be simple or elaborate, big or small, cost dollars or cost a few more dollars :), but either way I feel like it anchors you to that person, event, and time in your life. I find myself finding reasons for giving gifts! Goodness I have a blog full of free printables for gift giving for all different occasions! Some of my favorite gifts have been for karate belt ceremonies, play performances, dance performances, football games, volleyball games, and more!

I have a fun tradition with my girls of giving a ballerina barbie with their small bouquet of flowers from Trader Joe’s! It is so fun because it gives them the flowers that they deserve and something they can remember the day with and keep playing with for days to come! I have especially loved giving the Disney Barbie Ballerinas because they are the perfect price and so fun for the girls to get their favorite princess as a princess. I’ve used Belle, Cinderella and Tiana.

I love my little ballerinas so much and how hard they work all year long at ballet!

Please enjoy the many faces I get of trying to get a picture of V. haha She hates pictures and does not want to wait for a good one so I usually have to take tons to get 1 good one, even then sometimes I don’t get a good one! haha!

I can’t help myself and usually get them a few little gifts too, that usually go along with their recital theme. This year it was Under the Sea – Little Mermaid. So I filled adorable little bags that matched their dance bags (Violet’s had little ballerinas and Liv’s had older ballerinas) with mermaid makeup compacts, a Little Mermaid book, a tiny Ariel doll, some candy and a mini brand bouquet! The girls loved everything! Violet literally puts on makeup everyday with this compact she loves it so much!
