Here’s an easy, fun and delicious after school snack idea and it can be paired with one of our favorite school themed books! After school one day I surprised Liv with sugar cookies from Harmon’s, a local grocery store in Utah and a new book The Smart Cookie. If you’re feeling ambitious and having more time on your hands with the kids back in school 😉 you’ve got to try my soft sugar cookie recipe. I swear by that recipe! Other sugar cookies just don’t measure up.
I put the cookies on a cute cake stand (mine is old, I linked a similar option) and had the saying ‘YOU are one smart cookie!’ on a little chalkboard nearby. These are the small moments that make a big impact in your little ones life! Enjoy them!
