Boo Basket/Buckets

A fairly new tradition to us, full of spooky, magical fun! A Halloween basket is perfect to welcome in the spooky season. I like to give Liv her Boo Basket the first day of October, but you could really give it any day in October even on Halloween Eve. Or even give one small gift in the basket every day for the month of October, whatever works for you! I just like that she has hers all month long then come November 1st I can put it all away and get to Christmas!

This year I wanted to keep it simple and easy as always, but include a few new things to make it even more magical. Here’s what’s included in her basket this year:

Chalkboard Bat, Sweet and Spooky Bucket, Bat/Pumpkin keychain, Boo straws, cotton candy, skeleton puzzle, Veggie chips, PYO haunted house, Kinder egg-Target, most from the Dollar Spot

Paw Patrol plate, witch finger sucker, Halloween balloons- Dollar Tree

Halloween dress-Amazon

Witch hat-Amazon

new fall outfit-Walmart

I want to be a Witch book-Amazon

The Night Before Halloween book -Amazon

I put one Halloween balloon in her room while she was sleeping and left a few extra balloons leading to the basket to lead her right to it!

She loved everything especially the witch hat!

Last year I filled it with lots of things from Dollar Tree and Target Dollar Spot as well. I found the pumpkin Pez dispenser at Ream’s and the Where’s My Mummy? book on Amazon, it’s still one of her favorite Halloween books to this day!

I obviously like to keep it simple and inexpensive, but I do spend a little extra on the books (and by that I mean they are all still less than $10)! I like to add to our collection every holiday so I might as well include them in the gift!
