August Highlights

Family. Friends. Ice cream. Babies. Completing our summer bucket list. Back to school. Loved August with my favorite people! 🍦 👶 ☀️ 🏫

-Rare date night with cutie Dallin to a place that’s been on our restaurant bucket list for a long time! Maria Bonita in Orem was so good!

-Lots of ice cream at Grandma Warners

-Crossed the last few things off our summer bucket list like: Hot Donuts at Krispy Kreme, Day in Provo (Liv kept saying WOW I want to go to BYU and I said oh I don’t know if Dad will like that haha He loves the U. Made me laugh how she kept wanting to take pictures everywhere!), H Mart!

-Lots of family time, even some time with “uncle Ryan” haha loved the princess hold he had V in!

-Lots of cutie baby cousin time!

-The girls discovered perler beads and have been loving them, Liv making and Violet enjoying whatever she makes! haha

-Violet LOVES her uncles. She hasn’t seen Cody for a few weeks and when she saw him she just cuddled with him like all was right in the world!

-Made the cutest smiley face cookies for my nephews ‘ONE happy dude!’ first birthday party! V really loved the dough (I did not let her eat all that.) Find my favorite soft sugar cookie recipe HERE!

-Last Summer Hurrah with some great friends!

-V started ballet! We are loving THESE ballet shoes for her class.

-Liv met her new teacher and loves her! So, so glad!! We gave her a ceramic apple (found at Dollar Tree) filled with treats and THIS tag! Her best friend is in her class too and we think that Papa pulled some strings up in heaven so she could get such a sweet teacher AND her bestie in her class again!

-Back to School Dinner-Every Day is a Sprinkle Party. I stretched the theme a bit and said sprinkles are like all the good things that happen in our day. This year we are focusing on the good and having a sprinkle party every day!

-Back to School Baskets-love this fun tradition!

-Ice Cream with Grandma Warner to show her everything in their baskets and share all the ice cream!

-Olivia started 1st Grade!

-Papa Pine has been having a rough go. I’ve been SO worried about this little tree. but do you see that new growth!?? I think it’s trying to pull through! Love that my girls love to check on it and call it Papa Pine. V was telling it all about her day the other day and it made me… I think Papa is listening 🤍

-Violet is quite the helper in the kitchen! If Dallin and I even walk in the area she immediately says “Help you?”

-We’ve had our fair share of toddler times with little V. haha Lots of fun with this little lady! She loves to help cook, get into everything and be involved in everything!

-Teacher gifts for all the girls teachers! Love this printable to make it so easy and this get to know you/favorite sheet is so nice to have for the rest of the year!
