Already almost half way through August (can you even believe it!?!) and just getting this up, but determined to capture these memories no matter how late! Here’s a little recap of July. The

-Classic with cousins!
-Dallin and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary. We love to celebrate with a fancy dinner just the two of us then pick up the girls and watch our wedding video while eating Nothing Bundt Cake bundtlets, the same cake as we had at our wedding just a mini version!

-Just kept swimming and working on Violet’s Under the Sea mermaid birthday party! So many DIY projects for this party. While I was working on her coral reef I got a really bad burn on my thumb and leg, I did end up learning how to best use my dual temp glue gun though and always stay cautious with it. :/
-Spent a quick day at the cabin with more cousins and had so much fun, even though a wasp wanted to ruin O’s fun! She was stung on the lip and it took several hours for the swelling to go down.
-Glow in the dark dance party the night before the 4th thanks to Grandma Strong and DJ Owen was LIT!

-4th of July was a party of the cutest mini snackle boxes for the kids. We loved partying with cousins and Grandma Warner!

-Loved my July Home decor so much this year! I mixed watermelon and 4th of July themed decor. Still not sure if the 2 mix well but loved the addition of a few pieces! Here’s some decor that I love or added this year: LOVE this Buffalo Check Table Runner, this pack of 26 pieces watermelon wood signs are so cute and fun to put around the house to fill in small trays or spaces that need a little something, watermelon wood blocks, red white and blue artificial flowers I can use again and again, a sweet little book set in watermelon colors, and lastly but definitely not least my favorite artificial geraniums that look so realistic and beautiful!

-Violet’s Under the Sea, Little Mermaid party was a hit! 🧜♀️ It was one of my favorite parties to date, for one of the sweetest little mermaids!

-Celebrated my sister’s birthday!
-Had a fun night at Cowabunga Bay with cousins!
-Church with special visitors is always extra fun.

-Indoor Mini golf was such a fun adventure!
-The girls started swimming lessons at the same place D went for swimming lessons when he was little.

-Checked off Tracy Aviary on our Summer Bucket List. One of our favorite days! Enjoyed some pizza in the park at Memory Grove after. It was so surreal to be back in places that we hadn’t been back to since D and I were newly weds!

-Finished the Summer Reading challenge at the library. We love to do this too! We all get 1 free book each, coupons to use around the valley and we are already doing everything anyways!
-O went to Camp Tracy for the first time!

-Made a big batch of a summer candy salad to share with family!
-Rode the Frontrunner train all the way to Ogden!
-Water Party at the Strongs finished with S’mores

-Walk in the Park!

-Liv cruised through a few more series of books. She loves to read!! She is currently reading The Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels and loves them. She has been reading them at lightening speed and I’m so happy I got her all 19. You can find the whole set HERE and the 19th one HERE! Preorder the 20th one HERE!

-Remembered that Tuesday is a very special day at Fabulous Freddy’s because of Dippin Dots being $2.99!!
-Saw the prettiest floats at the days of 47 float preview.
-Celebrated the 24th with a bakery run, cuddles from our favorite Golden Retriever, watching fireworks in the parking lot and getting ready for Christmas in July with frozen hot chocolate! We also had some pie for PIEoneer day!
-The girls woke up on the 25th to a present from Santa brought by their sneaky elves! Who also told them the theme of the year! Violet got THIS and Olivia got THIS! Love their interests and ages right now, they are just so adorable and fun!

-Spent our yearly day in Provo to visit and loved it, but also almost melted because of it being soooo hot! Seriously I’m not sure I’ve ever looked forward to fall and cooler weather more in my life. This summer and heat has been a doozy.
-I overhauled the coat closet while Dallin put together the cutest swingset for the girls, this is a progress shot, the swingset is not all the way up in this picture! We got ours from Costco, but this one from Sam’s Club is incredibly similar, so far so good! It’s such an adorable swing set and has so many fun features! The girls love it! We got THIS organizer that fit perfectly in our space and realized that SKUBB IKEA closet bins fit perfectly in them. It worked out so nicely and we can fit so much more in and it looks SO nice!
-Hair cuts for the girls to enjoy the rest of the summer with a shorter look and to prep for back to school! The girls absolutely loved this Reel that I made of their before and afters!
-We went to the new Museum of Utah to beat the heat and loved seeing it! The stained glass was incredible, loved the gift shop and so many different spots in the museum it is really well done! I also LOVED the AC. 🙂
-We were able to go to Lagoon with Dallin’s work and the girls loved it!
Love July so much and wish it stayed a little longer! We are back in the swing of school and I’m missing the summer days! :'(
