Maybe I’m just sentimental because this was such an incredible day. I would love to relive my wedding day over and over again. Every year on our anniversary I try the best way I know how, through pictures and video. So I’d I thought I’d take a little trip down memory lane here on the blog too. I love when I see posts giving ALL the details, whether it be a recipe, outfit post or where they got their party décor. So this post is going to give ALL the details, recommendations and everything in between. I cannot believe it’s been NINE years since marrying this cutie! It seems like it was yesterday, but somehow another lifetime ago. We’ve been through so much together it’s almost hard to remember a time before we were together. Lately I’ve been getting the urge to document all the things. So with my anniversary tomorrow no better time than remembering our wedding day!

We were married in the Salt Lake City temple, my favorite part of the day! Then greeted by all our family and friends just outside the temple for pictures. It was such a wonderful day! I truly love looking back at these pictures every year. It’s bittersweet seeing people that have grown so much, relationships have changed for better or worse, and the saddest of all seeing those that have passed away.

Two of the hardest people to lose that now live in heaven are my Dad and my sweet Grandma Nelson. My Dad passed away this last November so it’s extra special to see all the pictures of him this year.

These pictures will always be treasured! I was lucky to have not one but two amazing photographers capturing this day for us, Jenn Rogerson and Aubrey at The Visionary Co. Like I said before I love all the details so I wanted to make sure they were all captured of this really special day! I had a great team that helped me do that.
There are still plenty of loved ones here on earth that we love so much It’s so cool to see these pictures and see how the relationships have changed, especially when they have grown for the better! 🙂

Don’t mind me as I reminisce and pretend that I’m making my very own article for one of those wedding magazines that I’ve always loved so much (more on that below)!

Me and my bestie! Love my Grandma so much!

Love all the details that were captured too! That’s why I wanted 2 photographers. I LOVE the details!

I got some fun, new siblings, a couple of them couldn’t be there because they just had a sweet little baby!! 🙂

Miss my Dad and his silly jokes!

My cute mom!

More details, I still have my bracelet (linked similar) and earrings (linked similar) and wear them every anniversary!

I love peonies so I asked for a lot in my bouquet! Loved that my florists (love you Lauri and Karla!!) put so many in for me!

The day before our wedding Dallin and I helped set up the dance floor in the sun. As you can tell I got super sun burnt :/ but I didn’t even care really. I think it shows my dedication to detail and events! haha It also shows the great quality of my photographers on how well they were able to hide it!!

Little baby Adam! When I showed little Violet (2) this she kept saying baby Daniel (Brittany’s newest little 1 year old)? I told her no and that it was Adam! Adam is a lot older now! She couldn’t believe it! I can’t get over him in those adorable kid suspenders and bow tie (linked similar options).

I loved this picture with some of our nieces and nephews so much, Dallin has always called them his ‘niblings’ haha I can’t believe how much they’ve grown! We were missing a few and have added a bunch since this picture!

I knew my colors months in advance so had been looking for these styles for a while. I found the light gray suspenders (linked similar online option) in the Target Dollar section during easter as well as the girls pearl bracelet/necklace sets (linked similar)!

I’ll link my LTK post with all of my wedding inspo below! Similar wedding dresses, similar ring styles, similar looks! All of it! Love the classic look! I even included some dresses for little girls in the bridal party. It’s all in the details!

Dallin still has his suit and loves it! It was 3 pieces including pants, a vest and a jacket!

Dallin always being silly! haha

I got my dress from a shop in Utah that is no longer in business and had a pretty terrible experience. I got my dress only a couple weeks before my wedding day in July and ordered it in JANUARY. They let me know that I should’ve rush ordered it! Still think it’s so crazy that it would take that long but that’s my number one tip to all brides is get the dress first always! Here’s a few that have a similar look and are so beautiful here, here and here!

I love weddings! They are seriously one of my favorite things! My mom use to buy me wedding magazines when I was a teen when we would go to the grocery store just so I could look at all the pretty weddings and receptions. I would keep them all and look at them in my free time! This day was truly magical for us and something I looked forward to for years. HERE are a few things that I think are similar to our wedding in case you’re in the midst of wedding planning for yourself or helping and want to get the look!
